 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I needed a surgeon to remove the excess skin on my neck. Since it wasn’t caused by a medical condition or weight loss, the procedure was considered cosmetic and wasn’t covered by insurance.

Before finding Dr. Tan, I had consultations with three different plastic surgeons. At each appointment, I made it clear that I was only interested in removing the excess skin on my neck. Instead of listening to what I wanted, I was told about all the other procedures they thought I should have. While those suggestions may have been nice if money weren’t an issue, they simply weren’t within my budget. I was beginning to lose hope when my daughter found Dr. Tan.

First of all, I was thrilled that she was a female surgeon—yes, I said it! From my very first consultation through my follow-up appointments, my experience with Dr. Tan has been exceptional. She is straightforward, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. She explained what I needed without making me feel pressured to have other procedures I wasn’t asking for or can’t afford. I finally felt heard and respected.

I’m happy with my results. I continue to see Dr Tan for esthetic maintenance now because I trust her and feel comfortable with her knowing she’ll suggest what I need and not everything I don’t need and can’t afford.

If you’re looking for a surgeon who listens to her patients and genuinely has your best interests at heart, I highly recommend Dr. Tan. Her staff are always friendly and professional too.

I specifically went to her for non surgical options, knowing that she also does surgery and could speak to the risks and benefits for different procedures and how they might affect future surgeries. Her staff is very professional and Dr Tan made me very comfortable.   I did elect for surgery and there were no surprises.  She was always available during my recovery when I reached out with questions and I really appreciated that.
